A workshop focused on taking an idea and developing it into a coherent package to pitch to broadcasters brought local filmmakers together in Darwin and Alice Springs this week.
The workshop was run by two of Australian television’s great creatives – Marion Farrelly and Alison Black. Their resumes contain a long list award-winning shows loved by audiences across Australia and other territories.
Marion also came to ABC Darwin and joined myself and Mornings presenter Mick Murdoch on our Square Eyes segment to talk to us about what pitching is all about as well as give us some insight into her fascinating career.
