I am a filmmaker and journalist with more than 20 years experience in the media industry in Australia and overseas.

As a child I roamed the desert sands of remote outback Australia -from Tennant Creek to Laverton and Kalgoorlie. My mum struggled to keep shoes on my feet. I just love to feel the earth underfoot. It was a carefree childhood.

A move to Adelaide city exposed me to urban concrete and clay. It wasn't long before I was rocking sneakers, publishing street magazines and newspapers, making community radio shows and building websites.

After years of independent publishing, multimedia production and academia, where I obtained first class honours in Communications, completed Master of Journalism coursework and lectured in media, popular music and organisational communication, I moved to corporate media and communications.

As desire to travel and live in distant lands saw me head abroad to Vietnam. Based in Hanoi for three years...
